About Us
You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques within the old town. Alfresco dining is available with a view of Windsor Castle, the perfect location to watch the changing of the guard ceremony. We are an independently owned tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates are cooked fresh to order and reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon.
The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. A bespoke plaster fresco by Charles Snell conjures the earthy tones of the Mediterranean coast while accents of gold offset our rustic leather seating.
Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.
A selection of wines and cocktails have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. The only thing you’ll find in our freezer will be ice cream.
In respect to the land that nourishes us, Plate at No. 6 supports sustainable practice and supply from our produce to our tables.
